Student Services

GED/Adult Education
Students can complete their high school equivalency (HSE) following the General Educational Development (GED) format.

Career Education
Students can get trades training, career skills, resume building, mock interviewing, digital literacy, and contextualized ESL.

Family Education
Parents and caregivers of young children learn how to support their children’s cognitive and social-emotional development, and children receive early literacy and school readiness instruction.

Literacy Coalition offers career education services for adults. A comprehensive program that allows students to get trades training, career skills, resume building, mock interviewing, digital literacy, and contextualized ESL. The career programs offered include:
- Career Readiness Workshops
- Career Coaching
- Career Training
- Integrated Education and Training (IET)
Literacy Coalition is here to help adults build a career path. Career Readiness Workshops and coaching are offered in-person and online. While career training and IET programs are only in person. Classes are low to no cost, depending on eligibility.

Family Education
Literacy Coalition’s family education program is designed to help parents and caregivers of young children learn how to support their children’s cognitive and social-emotional development. Children receive early literacy and school-readiness instruction.
Parents learn how to:
- Increase your child’s vocabulary
- Get your child excited for school
- Improve your child’s self-esteem
- Effectively communicate with your child
Children learn how to:
- Follow a school routine
- Socialize with other children
- Develop fine motor skills
- Build early literacy skills
Family Education classes are offered in English and Spanish.

We are open from 8 AM to 6 PM, Monday to Saturday. We’re closed on Sunday. Holiday hours may vary, so please call or check our website for specific information on those dates.

Yes, we have a parking lot adjacent to the restaurant, and street parking is also available. Valet parking is offered on weekends.
Can I order food for takeout or delivery?
Absolutely! You can order online through our website or by calling us. We offer both takeout and delivery within a specific radius.
Can I bring my own wine, and is there a corkage fee?
We do not allow guests to bring their own wine, beer, or spirits to our restaurant. We have an extensive beverage menu, including a wide selection of wines, beers, and cocktails for you to enjoy.
