Social Services Caseworker I
The Social Services Caseworker I provides supportive services and referrals to other community agencies, equipping students with the resources needed to achieve their educational and employment goals within Literacy Coalition of Central Texas programs. The Social Services Caseworker provides case management, advocacy, and referrals for victims of violence and facilitates access to state victims’ services. The Social Services Caseworker supports victims’ services and information outreach, provides support group services, conducts trauma-informed trainings, and recruits students for Literacy Coalition of Central Texas programs.

Adult Education Part-Time Instructor I
The Adult Education Part-Time Instructor I spends work time instructing and managing adult students in online and in-person classrooms. Classes are held at various partner sites in the Greater Austin community or via virtual platforms such as Zoom. Instructors are responsible for guiding students through the curricula, so that students acquire the skills necessary to compete in a job market that requires High School Equivalency (HSE). Other duties include program coordination. This role supports the effective delivery of instruction to Adult Learners in the High School Equivalency programs by leading the intake/outtake processes for program participants, monitoring student progress and testing, and providing administrative support to program staff.
