Who can volunteer?

Anyone over 18 can volunteer. Volunteers in the classroom with students will require a background check.

Can my company volunteer as an employee activity?

Yes! Literacy Coalition welcomes employer-sponsored groups to volunteer. We will work with you to find the perfect activity, event, or project.

How do I see what events are coming up?

The event page lists any upcoming events hosted by the Literacy Coalition. This includes community events, conferences, and the schedule for classes.

Can I donate using a check?

Absolutely! Literacy Coalition welcomes donations online or by check. Checks can be personal, corporate, or from investment accounts.

Does Literacy Coalition accept donations other than money?
